ACQUISITION AND REDEVELOPMENT
Collarmele Partners recently entered into an investment partnership to acquire the 1.5 million square foot Yorktown Center. Originally constructed in 1968 as the country’s largest shopping center, the property has undergone several transformations in its time. Billed as DuPage County’s most exciting retail destination, there are three unique experiences: Yorktown Center’s enclosed elegance, the alfresco refinement of the Shops on Butterfield, and the diverse Plaza Shops at Yorktown. New ownership implemented strategic leasing program with upgrades to all common areas, the creation of new cafés in the center court and a state-of-the-art food court with sophisticated offerings. Collarmele handles leasing and development and participate in management of day-to-day operations.
